Technical Management

Victoria Marine Ship Management GmbH & Co. KG provides technical management for all vessel types in the Container, Bulk, MPP and Tanker segment. 


Victoria Marine covers all aspects of safe and reliable ship operations in accordance with today’s standards of efficiency and safety and 24/7 monitoring of fleet performance:


  • Current maintenance and repairs (incl. class renewals)
  • Crewing (incl. cadet training)
  • Supply of spare parts, consumables and provisioning
  • Nautical expertise: regular onboard inspections of ships
  • Quality management according to international standards  (ISO and ISM)
  • Class renewal & drydockings
  • Construction supervision for newbuildings

Victoria Marine Ship Management is a strategic partner of Norway-based OSM Thome Group, one of the world's largest ship managers. 


Victoria Marine benefits from a close collaboration with OSM Thome in the fields of:

Chartering / Brokerage 

Carsten Rehder has a strong background in ship broking, chartering and S&P. These activities are carried out by our subsidiary Victoria Shipbrokers GmbH & Co. KG.

Victoria Shipbrokers is responsible for chartering of all Carsten Rehder container, multipurpose and dry bulk vessels. Additionally, Victoria acts as chartering broker for third-party tonnage and project cargo owners.

Victoria Shipbrokers is also active as sale & purchase broker for second-hand and newbuilding tonnage.


Insurance

Our sister company KINGFISHER INSURANCE BROKER GmbH is a small but powerful marine insurance broker for a selected clientele. A highly skilled base of employees ensures accurate and effective service. All employees have sound experience in the field of marine insurance and were previously responsible for managing insurance portfolio at other broking houses.
